Nice to meet you, I’m Filippo, your Host.
Passionate about hospitality and meeting people, I wanted to change my life and, after leaving my career as an international lawyer, I preferred to take care of people’s smiles, rather than their problems. In 1994, together with my mother Adele, we thought of and created the 1st and oldest Bed & Breakfast in Italy and gave life to this new concept of hospitality, after a family tradition of hotel management.
The center of Ferrara is a UNESCO world heritage site. Elegant area where you can discover the Renaissance and the Middle Ages between the castle, cathedral, Jewish ghetto, churches, residences and sumptuous palaces.
But not only the city center, also the province of Ferrara, the Po Delta, Comacchio and its valleys… are unique places where you can spend moments of relaxation, culture and excellent gastronomy, by walk or by bike.
I am a bicycle lover, so I can recommend many itineraries to do along this Ferrara’s province.

Depending from the Tarif booked.
Standard: you could Modify or Cancel your reservation by 23:59 of 4 day before the beginning of your stay. Then, 1 night shall be charged to you.
Bikes are available for free for our Guests.. We are NEVER liable in case of domages caused to you or to third parties. If it will be stolen you shall pay 100/oo euro per bike.
Credit cards are welcome even if cash paiements are preferred. Locanda Borgonuovo has the right to verify the credit card validity.
It is NOT allowed to do parties or any other event in the rooms.
